Jonah's first Christmas

We had a lovely Christmas, which was extra special as it was our first Christmas as a family. My parents came to share in all the fun. Marius cooked a delicious feast fit for a King. It was so nice to watch Jonah get so excited over all his presents and for my parents to be there to enjoy him too.

After work Marius chilled out with Jonah. I'm not sure who had the most fun, but watching my boys playing together has to be one of my favourite pass times. There's just something so special about fathers and sons.

We really enjoyed having Mamie & Pepe for the weekend & hope they'll come back soon. Jonah was so excited he started waving(like my mum) & seemed to have lots to say-in Jonah english, or perhaps that should be french as Sabine seemed able to speak it too.

Missed him?

Sorry for the lack of posts, Jonah caught a bug, then we had it. Then just as we thought we were on the mend it's come back. I have to admit Jonah's been alot better about it than Yus and I . He even kept smiling when he woke up vomiting. He really is an amazing child.

My 30th birthday

For my 30th birthday we went to France for the weekend. It was extra special as most of the family came to help me celebrate & a good time was had by all. Merci for every thing. It was really good to see you all. We really do have some great kids & it was nice for Jonah to play with his french cousins.

Preparing for christmas

I love christmas, but usually I think the shops start preparing for it too early.My birthday's in november so it just seems wrong that christmas mania starts in October. Well that was pre-Jonah. We don't do halloween or thanks giving so for the best part of this year I've been on the look out for christmas costumes & I'm sooooooo excited about Jonah's first chrismas-the shops better be prepared for me.
