Babies...what babies

Jonah and Seth went together to get their hair cut. While Seth seemed at ease with this Jonah wasn't so sure. He tried to be brave(aided my a binkie, a toy phone, a toy dog and his mummy-all of which he clung to for dear life). The water spray, the scissors, the clippers were just about tolerable, but the hair dryer was the last straw and he could fight back the tears no longer. At least I think that's what is was, it could have been he(like his mummy) just missed his curls.

Summer is over?

I can't believe it's september and we're still wearing shorts to the beach. Being English I'm used to a few nice days and that's your lot until the next summer. New York has spoiled us with great weather and even better company.

She made it

Today was Micah's first day at Primary School. This week he'll just do half days, to help ease him and his mum into it.

As if that wasn't enough, my sister's eldest, Noah started secondary School today. Welldone to the three of you(and to Sam, Phoebe, Matt and Kyle who also went back to school today).

My kind of weekend

Last weekend was the last weekend before the kids went back to school. We made the most of the end of summer by celebrating Seth's first birthday and then headed for the beach on sunday.
